The Best Way To Promote Your Keywords More Effectively

How To Promote Your Keywords More Effectively

Promoting your keywords are very important and something most people do quite frequently. When you promote your keywords you have to do it correctly otherwise there’s no point doing it. Keywords play a big part in search engine optimization as the best traffic comes from the search engines as it is 100% free and targeted. Even if your keywords are very competitive you can still rank very highly in the results page, it just takes slightly longer. Sometimes when you start to promote your keywords you can be quite surprised at how high you can rank just by producing a couple of links, this is mainly down to the quality of links being produced. I will cover what good quality links are and how you can start building your own.

Its best to make sure you have completed a sufficient amount of research into the keywords you will be promoting for your website. One of the ways I find good keywords for my website is by spying on the top sites in my niche and see what keywords give them the most traffic. Its good to promote a variety of keywords at one, try to promote around 7 – 10 keywords at a time or in rotation, also try to promote as many pages as you can within your website as this is considered to be very seo. Having a blog attached to your website will make it easier to naturally promote pages within your site without being to much hassle. When you promote a variety of keywords/pages the chances of being penalised for “aggressive linking” are slim and will make the links being produced natural which again is very important for seo and especially for google.

Good quality links are considered to be links of the highest quality possible. For examples lets say you own a games website and you want to get it ranked highly for the term “online games”. The best websites to get a link from would be ones that have also been optimized for the term “online games”, you also want to try and produce these links within the webpage’s content rather than on the sidebar or footer. Having links within the content itself makes that link appear more seo and will guarantee it will be picked up by google. Links in the footer and sidebar tend to get overlooked sometimes as they are the last sections of a webpage to be crawled. You can approach the website owner with a kind e-mail stating you would like a link on a particular page with the particular term you would like, try to use a term already in the content as the website will be more happy to give you a link if it doesn’t require much work on there. You could offer them a link from one of your other sites rather than the one your asking them to produce a link to, or if the site is really good quality which it should be then it might be worth offering them a small fee for the lifetime of the link.

Another very important factor when producing links on high quality websites is the pagerank, you want to try and produce links on webapges that have a pagerank of 1+ (ideally 7-10), the higher the pagerank the better. Try to avoid links on websites that have a pagerank of 0 and especially if that website has been around for longer than 12 months. If a website has been registered for over 12 months and still has a pagerank of 0 then 9 times out of 10 there’s something dodgy as google doesn’t favour that site much. Its not hard to get a pagerank 1 all it takes is a handful of well places links on some good sites in your niche.

The above explanation is for seo purposes, sometimes its good to produce a link on a general site if it receives a lot of traffic. Link building isn’t just for search engines optimization it is also used to build a steady stream of targeted traffic to your site, I have paid for several links in the past on some mediocre sites just because of there traffic. My rule is to stay away from buying links directly unless you know what your doing, you should only buy links on sites that are from your niche and can send you targeted traffic.

There’s many good sites available to you that are free and can produce some half decent links that are worth having. You should submit your website to all the top social bookmarking sites on a regular basis as these sites can send you a lot of traffic if you frequently use them and post good content. All websites should have a blog attached to them as its a good way to show people you are well educated in your field. Having a blog means you can write good content about your niche and then easily submit it to al the social bookmarking sites at a click of the button.

Also consider using directory submissions for there manual directory submissions service as well as there automatic directory submissions service. They have hand picked over 4,000 of the top directories that all have pagerank and receive traffic, not only that but all the directories have been tested and are active unlike the ones used by other directory submission companies. Try them out today for only $10 and see the results in only a few days. By Michael Tedder

Never Give Up On Your Website

Success online doesn’t come easy, the online markets are huge with allot of people trying to get a slice of the pie. There’s measures and research you can do to see if your market is the right one for you. Some markets like “free games” or “online dating” are very saturated and competitive so its best to do research before hand.

If your market is very competitive then it’s not impossible to be successful it will just take some time. Nothing comes easy and the internet is no different, everything you do online when it comes to promoting your website and attracting customers requires work. Sometimes it can feel as if you have tried everything and still your not seeing any positive results in return.

We are a directory submissions company who believe strongly in search engine optimization, as it’s the key to getting good quality targeted traffic. Throughout the promotion of your website you should also focus on methods that get you targeted traffic, as targeted traffic often converts in sales.

Promoting your website is an on going process and something every website owner does.throughout the life of there site. When ever you promote your website you should use your keywords as the anchor text of the link pointing to your website. If your keywords are very competitive then you need to start promoting your website as early as possible. We are currently promoting a very competitive term in our niche and trying to rank highly for it. We have been producing links for the past 3 months and we originally started in position 500 and now we are on page 2.

Some keywords are easier to rank high for than others but don’t produce that much traffic, its best to promote a wide range of smaller keyterms while you promote your competitive terms, the more keyterms you promote the more traffic you’ll receive.

If you site doesn’t receive much traffic and your not getting the sales you want then you need to some how increase the amount of good quality traffic coming to your site. The best way is too promote more keywords but if that doesn’t work then you could try different types of link building. Depending on where you link build you could increase the traffic to your site quite easily. Social bookmarking sites are known for there targeted traffic but if that doesn’t help then you could try directory submissions.

Some people say directory submissions are no good but we know for a fact that website directories can make a huge positive effect your site. Directorysubmissions.eu is the largest directory submissions company in Europe and they are unlike any other directory submissions company. What makes them different is they use active directories with high pageranks and receive good amounts of traffic.

All it takes is a well placed link and you could see your traffic double or even triple. Since we opened our blog we have noticed a huge increase of traffic and this is down to the amount of posts we publish. The more posts you publish the more keyterms will be picked up by google and assigned to your website. For example I recently wrote a post about the mts file format, after it was published my traffic increased for that term and this was down to the fact that there wasn’t much material about mts file format. So what im trying to say is all it takes is a simple post and you could see your traffic increase greatly. By Michael David Tedder

Content That Will Sell

You have spent enormous amount of money to build it and optimize your website, but don’t see the amount of customer you expected? You may have spent hundreds or even thousands of dollars by now and are about to give up because you just don’t get the conversions you were hoping for. If you have consulted seo firm, they would have explained you that the reason for this is that pictures and SEO alone do not sell. Google Analytics will prove it.
Do you want to know what does sell though? Content sell, and that is why you need to read this article and learn the principles of creating content that will convert.
The major key in creating great sales copy is understanding the behavior of people. People are not driven to action by logic, their emotion is what drives them. Not only that, why does anyone wish to buy your product and help you out? Just like you, they prefer to know what’s their benefit first. This means that if you want anyone to take some action, you have to sell them on an emotional benefit instead of a feature. Avoid telling everyone how wonderful your product is, it’s too annoying. Instead, tell people how this product is going to help them or how will they feel.
Another principle of good copywriting is getting into the reader’s mind. This means that while reading your article they should hear the words spoken in their minds. This gives you direct access to the command center of their brain and is going to make it easier for you to get them to take action. This does not mean that they will do whatever you ask. You need to write in the language of the people. A conversational style is much better than complicated and formal one. People don’t talk that way or think that way, so it is not going to lead them to take action. It is much better to keep it simple and fluent, just like your speech.
The third rule is to write to one person you know instead of to a lot of people you don’t know. Pretend that you are sitting down with a friend of yours and telling them about your product or service. You don’t need to sell; you are explaining how it can help them and conveying your passion and enthusiasm as a helpful friend. The only way to do this in relation to your visitor is to anchor to someone you are already familiar with. If you picture yourself writing to a stranger, it is going to come out in your writing and you are going to appear artificial. If you still doubt you can do it, make a telephone call to your friend, tell them about your business and record the conversation.
If you follow these principles and are able to create copy that is error free you ought to be able to convert more of your visitors into customers. The best way to become a great writer is to practice and make sure that you are always rewriting your work as your skills develop. View writing as a process more than a finished product and soon you will get comfortable with it. Then you understand that writing is the king when it comes to seo of your website.

The Life Of A Web Marketer – Blissfully Wasteful

A life of a web marketer can be a very relaxing one with the ability to choose your own hours and to work when you want to work. I have been working as a web promotion specialist for the last ten years and have what is known as "proven results". In this article I will be describing what a typical day used to be like for me prior to the children being born. I love my current life however I do sometimes miss those happy quiet days when I could do what I wanted to when I wanted to.

I am working for eight companies and it is the year 2000. These are people who have contracted me to help them to obtain a higher ranking within the major search engines.

I have learnt rather a lot about SEO and website promotion up to this point mainly from reading the views of the established specialists from the industry.

I would usually work between 11pm and 3am is this is when my concentration seemed to be at its best.

This would be my typical day:

7am – This is the time that I would normally wake up; I would clean my teeth and go to the toliet before going back to bed.

10am - After an extended "lie in" I would turn on my laptop and the television whilst still in bed. At this stage I am merely going to check my e-mail; the news, the stock market and read through a couple of sites that I like to keep an eye on such as seroundtable.

10.20am – I phone the DVD replication company to check if the discs that I have ordered are ready.

10.10.30am - It is now time for my breakfast - a nice piece of toast. It is time for a relax after all it has been a hectic morning!

1.20pm - I could do with some exercise therefore I decide to walk to the shops to buy a paper.

2pm - I drive to the tennis club as I have arranged to play a game with a good friend of mine.

6pm - I eat my evening meal which would normally consist of pasta or chicken and rice.

8pm- I quickly check my e-mails in a short break from watching the t.v.

The time has come to do some real work - believe it or not this is the time of the day that I love the most.

3.20am - I head off to gain some much deserved sleep. There must be easier ways to make money online.

How to Promote your Business with Google Adwords

There are realy only three steps to get you setup and ready to start
advertising, creating an account, writing your first ad and
submitting your billing information.

The first thing you need to do is sign up and get yourself a
google adwords account. To do that head over to the Google and
at the bottom of the screen click on the ‘Advertising
Programmes’ link at the bottom.

Then:

• Click into the Adwords homepage

• Click ‘try now’ at the top right of the screen

• Select the standard edition (you need to have an active
website for the standard edition, if you don’t have an active
website you are not really at the stage to start experimenting
with Adwords!)

• On the next screen it will ask you if you have a Google
account, you could have one for gmail, Google Adsense, Google
Analytics etc, all of them will give you a Google account which
you can enter at this step. If you really click the button that
says you don’t have an account and it will ask for some details
to make one for you.

• If you have used an existing Google account you can then sign
in to your brand spanking new Adwords account, if you
have created a new account then you need to click the
verification link in the email they don’t have one or want a
fresh account associated with Adwords (it is a lot easier just
to have one account trust me!) then have just sent you to
confirm you are the owner of that email address, then you can
sign in.

Then make up a dummy campaign to get started. When you
log in click on the ‘create my first campaign’ button and you
will be taken through the campaign setup process.

Just enter dummy information in, put in a dummy name, choose any
country, put in a fake ad (just fake not silly as if that makes
it to an editor you’ll be in their bad books!) and choose your
keyword as ‘123456789’ or similar so it will not actually show.

Once you have finished setting up your campaign it will show you
a summary screen where you can check everything is ok – then
click ‘continue to billing’ There you enter your billing
information, select your timezone and agree to the terms and
conditions, if you select direct debit payment you will have to
wait while that goes through the system, but the other options
mean that you can start your campaign right now.

Personally I use a credit card payment at the end of the month
for my Google Adwords account, but you also have the choice to do
prepay where you deposit money into your account for Adwords to
use, this will reduce any risks on your behalf as if you were to
accidentally leave an ad running that buildes up a huge bill then
with the credit card option you’d have to pay, if you used
prepay then the ad would just stop running after the money in
your account ran out.

Please note there is a $5 – $10 activation charge for your
account that they will bill you for after setup.

The choice is yours, but just make sure after you setup your
billing that you go to the ‘campaign summary’ page listed at the
top of the screen and tick the checkbox next to your dummy
campaign and delete it! Or you may get charged for the
advert showing up!

So if your business needs a rush of hungry customers looking for your product then there is a
new dvd course that takes you by the hand and shows you how to
set up each stage step by step so you can do well with Google
Adwords.
