Keyword Research Tool For Success

If you are a new webmaster, it is highly recommended that you read this article. The most important part of a website is being able to get traffic to it. You need to choose keywords that are relevant to your website that people search for in search engines. With a keyword research tool such as keyword elite, you will be able to find the keywords that are relevant to your website.

A keyword research tool is necessary for having success online. Many webmasters are good at creating new content for their websites, but they pick the wrong keywords to optimize the pages for. They end up using keywords that are very high in competition, or they choose keywords that never get searched.

If you choose the wrong keywords from the beginning, you are setting your website up to fail. Search engines will always be the major gateway for people finding your website. However, if you optimize for highly competitive keywords, you will probably never make it on the first page. On the flip side, it is also bad if you optimize for keywords that no one searches for. You will not make much money if you are ranking number one for a term that no one searches for.

While using a keyword research tool, it is very easy to analyze thousands of keywords. This will give you the ability to figure out which keywords have high search volume and which ones do not. Your goal is to pick keywords that get searched a lot, are relevant to your website, and have little competition. There are many different keywords that you will be able to choose.

After you have selected your keywords, you should get quality links with the keyword as the link text. If you can get high rankings in search engines, you will make a lot of money online. Many webmasters create new content for their website, but they never build links so that people can find the information. If you do your keyword research, you are taking a huge step in the right direction.

Keyword Elite Will Help You Make Money

If you are new website owner, you must understand that choosing the right keywords is very important if you want to be successful. Many people start websites, and they don’t do keyword research. They end up failing with their online businesses because they are trying to rank for keywords that are too competitive. There is an excellent software called keyword elite which will help you find the right keywords.

With keyword elite, you plug in a keyword that you would want to rank well for. Then, you will be generated with a list of thousands of keywords that are similar to the keyword you put in. You will then be able to evaluate the keywords that were found and see if they are getting searched a lot. It is very important to get keywords that have a high search volume, but they shouldn’t be too competitive.

A few years back, I used keyword elite for my keyword research, and it helped me out a lot. I am lucky that I bought the software when I began my first website. If I didn’t buy it, I probably would have started optimizing my site for the wrong keywords. Since I selected the right keywords, it has led to me getting good rankings and getting sales.

You have to realize that keyword research is not the only thing that needs to be done to your website. Backlinks are key to helping you rank higher in the search engines. However, you will realize that some keywords are much harder to rank for than others. You can find some hidden gems out there, since there are millions of keywords.

It is very easy to make money online if you do what is necessary to get good rankings. Many people avoid keyword research, but you should make sure that you don’t. The keyword elite software will help you find the keywords that can make you money. It may not come to you right now, but in the future you will realize that keywords are a very important factor in how successful your site will become. If you are ranking for the right keywords, you will make a lot of money online.

How to Use Keyword Research Wisely

Every webmaster strives to get their website listed in the first position of search engines. If you choose the wrong keywords from the beginning, you will never get any sales. The most important part of an online business is keyword research. If you pass up keyword research in the beginning, you will find yourself passing up a lot of cash.

Many website owners that fail after a few months usually recommend using long tail keywords to start. I don’t know who came up with this reasoning, but it’s not very smart. It is rare to find long tail keywords that even get searched. I have noticed that there many new website owners that optimize for search terms that never get searched.

To make money online, you should find the keywords that are getting searched but don’t have a lot of competition. It not an issue if a keyword is long tail or not. The competitiveness of a keyword is not based on how long it is. Some five word keywords are more competitive than one word keywords, and they would be considered long tail.

I will tell you how I do my keyword research. I try to find keywords that I want to rank highly for. Secondly, I use a keyword research tool called Keyword Elite and I find how much each keyword gets search per month. I do not use the Google Keyword Tool because I don’t think it’s very accurate.

Next, I do a search in the search engine for the keywords that get good search traffic. I pick the site that is ranking number one, and I use the link command in Yahoo to examine the websites linking to them. I check to see if the website has a lot of anchor text backlinks with the search keyword.

If most of the links do not contain the keyword in them, then I know that the website owner is a rookie. I come to the conclusion that the website owner can be easily outranked with links and time.

Most people think it’s going to be much harder than it really is to rank well. You have to understand that most website owners don’t even know anything about search engine optimization. If you do find website owners that aren’t doing good search engine optimization, you should be able to take their position and make money.

How To Spot Profitable Keywords

How do you find potentially profitable keyword phrases for your web pages or AdWords campaigns

What factors should you consider when trying to determine the profitability of a particular phrase? Here are some suggestions:

- the frequency of which your keyword phrase is searched on

- the number of other web pages competing for your keyword

- how your keyword phrase is written

- how much Pay Per Click advertisers are willing to bid for your keyword

- how closely matched your product is to your phrase

- does your keyword phrase include a product or brand name

The 6 criteria above will go along way to determining how profitable a term will be for you.

So let me take you through each of the criteria in a bit more detail and explain further how each one can help you determine the potential of the keyword …

1. Keyword Phrase Search Frequency

The higher the frequency that a keyword is searched on, the higher the probability that it will be profitable as it will drive you more traffic. Lets face it, if nobody ever types it in a search engine, it is not going to make you any money!

2. Competition For Your Keyword Phrase

Just because a search term is heavily searched on doesn’t mean it’s going to be profitable for YOU!

There really is no point whatsoever in optimising for a a high traffic keyword if there are already thousands of other pages already optimised for it … because you will really find it hard to compete with them and your pages will simply just not rank very well in the search engines.

For a phrase to be profitable, it needs to attract "reasonable" volumes of searches whilst not having too many web pages to compete with!

3. How The Keyword Phrase Is Structured

This is a key point. When you do find a keyword phrase that receives a lot of searches each month, and the phrase is a "question", you have potentially found yourself a highly profitable keyword to make a lot of money from.

If you discover a highly searched on term that starts with “why”, “how”, “where” or “which”, you’ve discovered an opportunity to provide the searcher with a “really targeted benefit”.

4. How Much Google AdWords Advertisers Are Paying For The Keyword

If advertisers are prepared to pay a lot to display their advert against a keyword phrase, it must follow that its valuable and therefore should be profitable … makes a lot of sense I think you will agree? Life really does not need to be complicated …

5. How Well Matched Your Product Is To Your Keyword Phrase

There’s no point in identifying a potentially profitable term and then using it to sell a product that isn’t closely matched to it.

6. Include A Product Name

Phrases that include a specific product name or brand name are likely to be high converting keywords if you’re going to use them for affiliate marketing, because people already have been pre-sold on the product as they know of its existence before they search on it.

So there you have it, you now know how to identify profitable keywords using the six criteria above to analyse their potentially profitability.

The best keyword tool I have come across, and I’ve tried a few is Brad Callen’s Keyword Elite.  It’s an excellent tool!  The good news is he is releasing Keyword Elite 2.0 very very soon, click on the link to take a look!  And take a look at my Keyword Elite 2 bonus as well!
