The huge topic of SEO (search engine optimization) will definitely not be fully covered in this article. But here are some basic things to get you started.Once you are sure that you have chosen the best keyword for your product, service or information then make sure you use your keyword in the domain name, the page title and the page description. You also need to use your keywords in the content of your website but don’t overuse your keywords. Google doesn’t like that either! Now you need to go and do some SEO homework.

There are many ways to get links to your website as well. This is also another area where there are many things to learn.  Blogging, social bookmarking, article and video submission are some of the many ways that you can increase the links to your website and increase your relevancy with Google.

Paid Traffic

Paid traffic is also known as PPC (Pay per click).To get your website onto the front page of Google you can also pay using Google’s Adsense service whereby when someone clicks on your ad you pay a fee to Google.

When you look at the Google search results page often the top two or three results are paid as are all of the results displayed down the right hand side.The ads are located on the right hand side because this is where our eyes stop naturally in the reading process.
