Links are primary while content is secondary.

You’ve probably heard the old phrase content is king you know?  My tests have shown this is B.S.

I realize this report isn’t exactly what you’ve heard before, however it is factual.  I will not tell you the names of sites.  I have to protect them as they are not mine.  But I will tell you why, based on facts that I have learned, one way links are more important than site content.

Here’s the deal I have recently started working for a new client because their pages couldn’t seem to get to the first page of Google so I took the challenge and went to work for them.

The first page I read made me wonder why it was even there.  The pages were ill-written, nasty and lacked clarity. It seems that some one who does not know  English has ventured it.  It is obvious that the work was not well written, unfortunately it is easy to tell that someone was using a content article spinning rewrite program to complete the task.

Due to poor keyword research by the previous SEO guy many of these pages were attempting to compete for very competitive keywords.

A 5 year old could do this good even with only a free article spinner he got in 2 minutes off of download com.

The internal site structure was mixed up, the internal links had errors like ‘home’ as anchor text, the sitemap was missing, and you don’t even want to know what was coming in from other sites.

What is the result then? If content was king, these pages cannot be on the first page of ANY search engine. Why speak of Google?  After doing my research, what were the results?

No matter whether they are from low quality websites, all had links to their domain.  So then I looked at their sites that couldn’t make it to the first page of Google and found the Same non-English content but NO LINKS.

After copying links from the other pages, it only took two weeks to get my clients’ website on the first page of a Google search results for every single site I did for them.

I wanted to get fast results so I could prove to them I could handle getting quality links of power so that their sites would remain showing up with first page rankings.

Naturally I got the SEO duties. I have also found the secret to SEO rankings with blog marketing and it’s LINKS after LINKS.

Why are search engines so important

Understanding the way Search Engines work, is critical to the success of your internet business. Can you picture a store in the middle of nowhere, and expecting customers to appear at your door?

That is what newbies on the internet ofter do. They are under the mis-conception, that “If they build it, they will come” and so they sit in the wilderness and can’t figure out why only a couple of people stumble into their business.

If you are looking for ways to generate traffic to your websites, then this article is crtitical to your success.

If you will JUST apply the basics of what I teach you in this book, it will take your business to the next level of business and beyond, but let me emphasize, that I do not cover the advanced techniques you will need to make your business explode into the stratosphere. You will need to purchase my Advanced SEO Handbook, or get further education.

I encourage you to get further training in basic Internet Marketing, SEO and traffic generation, whether you become a member of our site:

1. Where we educate you in Optimized Marketing Strategies, Strategic Marketing Planning, and SEO.

2. Where we offer a complete education in every area of running an Internet Marketing as a business

3. where you can specialize in SEO and become Certified as an SEO Specialist.

My first sentence of this article, I said, "it is critical to the success of your internet business, that you understand the way search engines work".

It is the search engines that bring your website to the notice of the prospective customers. It is the search engines that provides the equivalence of thousands of signs along the trails to tell people where you are at and how to get there.

When a user enters a topic in their search box, the search engine kicks into gear instantly. The search engine immediately sifts through the millions of web pages, articles, Social media posts, videos, and other miscellaneous pages on the web that have been indexed and returns the data that is the most relevant to the topic the user entered. popularity and relevancy are only second to the relevancy of the returned search data. No one really knows all the variables of the algorithm’s that accomplish this task, there are some basic factors that have become common knowledge to those in the know.

Unless you have been under a rock for the last 10 years, you already know that Google owns the world!! hee hee Hee.. Seriously, Google does control most of the web universe and so it is looked upon as the master, and the Google search engine is the most important to understand, and they set the standards bar for the other search engines to reach.

Understanding Google’s perspective and what they are trying to accomplish, is the key to maximizing the power of the Search Engines and the techniques you use to reach the page rankings that you are after.

Lets cover what Googles main theme is. What are they trying to accomplish/ What is their main objective? In order to provide their users a pleasurable user experience, Google has designed and implemented algorithms to provide their users wiht the most relevant data possible. Their priority is to provide a ecstatic user experience.

Knowing that it only makes sense to concentrate your efforts on SEO techniques that work under all conditions. If you use the same approach you would use to buy a Brooks Brother suit, in your SEO strategy, you will get better long term results. If you do not know what a Brooks brothers suit is, let me explain. When you buy a Brooks Bother’s suit, you know a couple of things:

1. These techniques will never go ut of style

2. It will work for years, even though you might have to adjust it here and there

3. They will never go out of style.

You will see and hear all types of fad SEO techniques, many are called Black hat. Google can penalize you for months, if they discover Black hat techniques, so I advise you not to use them.

Take my advise, and do not ever wear the Black hat. Put on the White hat, be patient, and enjoy your efforts for years to come, without looking over your shoulders.

Your website may as well not even exist, if you are not on the 1st 3 pages of the search engines. It is a critical long term goal to reach page 1 through consistent and persistent effort on your major keywords.

With proper planning, you can reach page 1 on some of your keywords within a month, another set of keywords in 3 months, yet another more popular set of keywords in 6 months, and even if it takes you 2 years to reach page 1 for the most popular keywords, this effort will pay off with rewards beyond your imagination with 10’s, if not 100’s of thousands of Free visitors each and every month.

Now, I will be talking a lot about Google and I want to make sure that you understand that there are 100’s of search engines, but Google is the grand Daddy of them all. There is no other marketing method that can drive more traffic than Google and the other 7 1st tier search engons.

So even though I refer to Google heavily, the way the search engines work and their algorithms are different and your traffic will depend on which search engines the customers use and how they rank your site.

Part 2 will cover the rest….
