Blog Me Happy I don't want to be a newbie any longer.

Google Trends, as many of you will know, is a simple tool for gauging, hour by hour, what is hotly being searched for on the Internet. It’s an incredibly versatile and innovative tool, and it has proved extremely handy for news agencies, Internet users, and Webmasters alike. It tends to focus on news blogs, which is excellent for the smaller Webmaster who is trying to increase traffic to his blog.

I suppose you could class me as one of those smaller Webmasters, and to be sure, I always keep one eye fixed on Google trends. I have learned from studying this mysteriously excellent service that most Internet users are only interested in the three things:

1. Nudity
2. Crime and serial killers
3. Celebrities, celebrities, and more celebrities.

• Health and Fitness – Society is now more aware than ever about healthy living, and many people are looking for quick solutions to daily fitness and health problems. Quality content regarding tips and products can see people visiting your site, and daily updates will see them return each and everyday.

• Celebrity Gossip – The rich and famous are more than ever in spotlight, and hundreds of thousands of people are looking to find out the smallest details about their favourite stars. It may be difficult to find out any new information but it is easy to bring all available information together to ensure that your blog is the central source of information from dedicated fans.

Join a blog network

This is one of the most effective methods on how to make money blogging. You will get paid to create and maintain content for blogs. The amount of money that you will earn will depend on the number of page views you get.

Many successful blogs though come not from writing about a popular topic, after all there is a lot of competition, but from finding a niche that is popular and where no one is writing about. Therefore write about something you know about and keep trying.

Let’s face it; being a parent isn’t an easy task. As a matter of fact, it takes more time than a full time job because you’re on calls twenty-four, seven. Then, you ask yourself, why do work at home moms make for the happiest homemakers? We can get caught up in work while the house and relationships begin to crumble around us or we spend so much time cleaning we never find time to work on our business. When we find ourselves in this state we desperately long for sanity to be restored. My work is not productive in any area if my home and my relationships are not in reasonable order.

It is important to remember that in order to make money you will have to be disciplined enough to put the time in that is required. Working from home and having success in your business gives a work at home mom a sense of pride and a sense of accomplishment.

Reset your timer for 15 minutes. Sit and cuddle with your kids. Read a story. Have fun together. When the timer goes, stop.
Reset the timer. Altogether, sort the laundry (teaching as you go). Make a game of it. Who can sort the most clothes? Each person gets 20 seconds to tell part of an ongoing story using the piece of laundry they just picked up and then the story is continued by the next person. When sorting is done and the load is started, fold any laundry that’s sitting in baskets – waiting! When the timer goes, everyone puts laundry away till it’s done.

Reset the timer for 15 minutes. Decide what’s for dinner and get the kids making a salad or any other age appropriate cooking chore. Mom prepares the main course. (Tip – start gathering meal plans that can be prepared in 15 minutes or less.). Whether its arranging flowers, creating innovative gift baskets, giving advice on rearing children, or blogging about their life work at home moms can make a success of just about anything, just as they have with their family duties.

If your house still needs more attention, play the airplane game again. If it’s reasonably clean, then clean the bathroom. You just have to get your work in front of people that are looking for what you are offering.

Side note – if your kids are too old to play the airplane game spend time working together and talking about whatever they decide the topic will be. Make sure they understand their responsibilities in keeping your home running efficiently. Wave your magic wand (your timer) and regain the peace and sanity for everyone in your home. With peace and sanity you will increase your productivity in your business, as well.
