OK, we all agree that your site looks the business but there is a famous saying; there is no point in having a superb looking website if nobody ever sees it. Despite the fact that the site has been “live” on the net for a while you are not receiving a lot of vistors to the site. So what can one do? Yes now is the time for the all important web promotion of the site. “Oh no, not more costs”, you may be thinking. “Not another cost, I have paid for the domain name, I have paid the web designer to build the site and I have paid for web hosting. There is not a lot of money left over in the budget for web promotion as well”.

I here this on a regular basis. I offer an affordable web promotion service in the UK and I have a lot of enquiries from people who had just presumed that their site would be able to achieve high rankings within Google purely by the skill and knowledge of the web designer. This unfortunately is rarely the case unless, of course they have paid for such a service.

So here are my four killer web promotion techniques. They have worked for many websites including a friends DVD authoring website.

1. Write a list of the keywords or phrases that you want to rank well for and then make sure that they appear within the text of the homepage plus the relevant sub pages.

2. Start a link building campaign where you are primarily attempting to obtain one-way backward links.

3. Use article marketing as it is a well known free form of web promotion that works. This is of benefit for a number of reasons; it helps to spread the message of the service/products that you provide; it enhances your reputation within the market plave and it also enables you to gain backward links

4. Add unique content to your website on a regular basis.

As well as being a web promotion specialist I am also a speech coach and these techniques have helped me to obtain high rankings for stuttering treatment websites.

I am confident that they will also be of great benefit to the readers of this article.

A life of a web marketer can be a very relaxing one with the ability to choose your own hours and to work when you want to work. I have been working as a web promotion specialist for the last ten years and have what is known as "proven results". In this article I will be describing what a typical day used to be like for me prior to the children being born. I love my current life however I do sometimes miss those happy quiet days when I could do what I wanted to when I wanted to.

I am working for eight companies and it is the year 2000. These are people who have contracted me to help them to obtain a higher ranking within the major search engines.

I have learnt rather a lot about SEO and website promotion up to this point mainly from reading the views of the established specialists from the industry.

I would usually work between 11pm and 3am is this is when my concentration seemed to be at its best.

This would be my typical day:

7am – This is the time that I would normally wake up; I would clean my teeth and go to the toliet before going back to bed.

10am - After an extended "lie in" I would turn on my laptop and the television whilst still in bed. At this stage I am merely going to check my e-mail; the news, the stock market and read through a couple of sites that I like to keep an eye on such as seroundtable.

10.20am – I phone the DVD replication company to check if the discs that I have ordered are ready.

10.10.30am - It is now time for my breakfast - a nice piece of toast. It is time for a relax after all it has been a hectic morning!

1.20pm - I could do with some exercise therefore I decide to walk to the shops to buy a paper.

2pm - I drive to the tennis club as I have arranged to play a game with a good friend of mine.

6pm - I eat my evening meal which would normally consist of pasta or chicken and rice.

8pm- I quickly check my e-mails in a short break from watching the t.v.

The time has come to do some real work - believe it or not this is the time of the day that I love the most.

3.20am - I head off to gain some much deserved sleep. There must be easier ways to make money online.

<a href='javascript: void(0);' onclick="window.open('http://blogmehappy.com/wp-content/plugins/email_post/email_post_process_link.php?&email_post_link_id=301','popup_mailform',

Like it or not, we are all living in the internet age. Internet is the new media to promote your business. Internet Marketing is sometimes called Online Advertising or Web Promotion too. Internet marketing is definitely one of the best choice when it comes to advertising. This article will take a look at a few of the easiest and most powerful free marketing strategies people are using today.

Knowing how to market online is the most important thing when it comes to promoting any type of online business. There are two major ways of doing internet marketing. There is paid marketing and there is also free marketing. In the past, you would be led to believe that the only way you could be successful with your online marketing efforts was by means of paid marketing. If they use the internet advertising correctly, they can expose themselves to a new world of business opportunity.

Let’s take a look at the benefits of advertising online. One of the obvious benefit online advertising is having access to a much larger target audience than you would with traditional methods. The best thing about internet advertising is that you can measure the results. As everything is digital, there are tons of statistics and reporting tools available.

Business directories are made to provide its users quality information on businesses according to the user’s search or business categories. If you are a business owner, you can get a chance to reach your local customers by listing your business to your local business directory. With a listing on Business Directory, potential clients can quickly and easily learn about you, your products, services, and your contact details.

Choosing a good business directory is a wise idea and needs some guidance. You can submit your business listing to many Singapore directories. Visit our web site and see more interesting content about advertising in Singapore directories.

If you own one-page sales letter business models or content-based websites, you should turn every webpage possible into subscriber snatching devices for you.. The good news is that not only is this method extra effective, it is just as extra effortless when it comes to applying the concept.

Web pages with good web traffic and with great professional website design can attract visitors, but not subscribers. Even the seo services companies would agree.

Some may say that creating unique content can keep some of the visitors coming back, but very often, unique content is not the solution. The real, long-term solution lies in converting your visitors into subscribers of your mailing list

Since visitors can come and leave without remembering your website in the future (which is very likely to happen), you can still follow up with your visitors easily by seeking their permission to opt into your mailing list through your web pages – on autopilot!

Also, a good strategy would be to create a pop up window that would appear after your visitor attempts to close the window or leaves your website, asking for your visitor’s name and email address so that you can follow up with him or her in the near future via subscribing to your mailing list for free.

This way, you can convert a big portion of your visitors into subscribers, giving you a chance to follow up with them on other offers you may have in the future..

Alternatively, you can insert an opt-in form within the spaces of your web pages. This is a very effective method if you are afrad of Internet users who have pop up killers installed in their web browsers.

In conclusion, turning every webpage you own into subscriber snatching devices with little effort can be responsible for huge subscriber-pulling results, thus giving you the income you solely deserve.

There are many ideas to get members to subscribe to your newsletter, thus increasing web traffic. Here are a few tips and ideas.

Use A Dynamic Email Signature – This is so simple, yet people forget to even do it or do it properly.. If you send out quite a few emails every day, this is a surefire way to get new subscribers.

All you need to do, is at the end of each email you send out, have a 4 line ad for your newsletter..

Despite your confidence with your site’s website design you will be surprised as to how many people will sign up in your newsletter.

Make Sure To Keep Your Newsletter Off Spam Lists – Here are some important and very useful tips to make sure you stay out of trouble when it comes to spamming.

- Mak e Sure Your Email Message is Compliant with the CAN-SPAM Law.

- Make sure your list is double opt-in

- Keep detailed records of all subscribes and unsubscribes. IP addresses, when they subscribed when they unsubscribed.

- Don’t even dare of purchasing email lists or harvest emails from the Internet.

- If you use co-registration companies, make sure they can be trusted and they do not use shady methods of traffic gathering.

- If you have an Affiliate Program, make sure you include an “anti-spam” provision in your agreement.

- Avoid using spam trigger words like “spam, free, special, guaranteed” etc….

Don’t Buy Mass Email Lists – I was just reading a post on a well known marketing forum today and I read a post from one guy who said he had access to a list of 800,000 email addresses from people who were interested in making money.

He mentioned his friend owned the list and was willing to let him use it for mailing however he said not to mention his name at all in the mailing.

This should have been the first alarm bell for this guy. Not to mention that this guy wasn’t sure how the list was compiled or how the people subscribed to this list.

It wasn’t even just one big mailing list, it was a bunch of lists stuck together.

If this guy does decide to mail to this list, he will be accused of spam, he will get into major trouble and he will NOT make any money worth the effort.

Never EVER send emails out to lists you don’t know anything about EVER. Never buy bulk email lists..

Start Your Own Forum – According to top seo services this is a great way to get new subscribers to your newsletter, thus getting more traffic in your site. Building a community within your website brings back repeat visitors, which means people will more then likely sign up for your newsletter if they keep coming back.

You can check an example of this at Howtocorp and go look at the forum. He has his newsletter signup form there and product recommendations. People love to help other people and answer their questions, so after awhile you won’t need to be answering many questions yourself.

The only best way to start your own forum is to do it yourself with software and host it on your own webhosting.Don’t use a 3rd party service, especially free ones.

Building a list of members or newsletter subscribers is one of the most important things any webmaster should do.

Now if you’re asking why, the answer is simple: Getting other publishers and websites to mention you, your site and your products constantly is a surefire way to get free subscribers, thus increasing web traffic into your site as well. This will then build a relationship with their own subscribers and when they join your newsletter they will already know a lot about you and be looking forward to receiving your emails.

Because your site or the product you are promoting has been recommended by someone else that has already provided them with information they want the trust will already be in place..

Now, here’s the question. How do you get other publishers to mention you in their newsletters? Is it thru a good webpage website design? Not exactly. Do something news worthy! Hold a contest, claim to know something no one else does, tell publishers a little tip that you learn and that they are free to tell their subscribers as well.

Building a relationship with other publishers is one of the best ways to get a mention or referral especially if you are offering them something that will be beneficial to them and their subscribers..

Another great way to get publishers to mention you is to send them articles, great articles or even an e-book filled with those articles. Tell the publisher they can send your articles to all their subscribers for free and include an author box that leads to your sign up page.

Build relationships with these publishers and become their friends!

It is also advisable to tell people who are already subscribed to your newsletter that they can pass the newsletter or e-book on to friends and also use parts or all of your newsletter in articles that they can then submit to various article marketing sites

Just make sure that as long as you are mentioned in the author box you will of course get credit and a link back to your site. This is sort of like article writing, just with your newsletter issue in replace of your article.

If you are providing good solid information in your newsletter or e-book, what ever the topic, you will want to target different people. Because according to top seo services, offering your information as something which can be passed onto others for free is a great way to get other website owners and marketers to mention you all the time.

It is also important to remember one of the biggest problems I see when people write articles or e-books is that they write about subjects no one in their market is interested in.. They just write about whatever they think people want to know about without checking for any information and doing research which is a huge no no.

One more problem is, publishers who have a market well defined don’t then write the content in their newsletters that interests their readers.. There is no use having an article on coin collecting and running a business about stamp collecting.

This is a problem that should be easy to overcome. Just send out an email asking your readers what they want to read. Also sign up for other newsletters in your market to check what they are writing about.

I think list building is the most important strategy you can follow when Internet Marketing..

The reason is fairly simple; when you have a visitor to your web-site, you have just one opportunity for that visitor to take a desired action (i.e. bookmark, opt in, sign up, recommend, inquire, purchase etc.). However, if that visitor signs up to your list, then you have many more opportunities to encourage that visitor to take a desired action..

For example, when visitors sign up for my 366 FREE Internet Marketing Tips AND Secrets I have 366 chances to build trust, my reputation and all good things like that. I also have the same number, which is 366, of chances to get that person to do what I want them to (because I send them a tip or secret every single day). Now, they may not do what I want them to do. They might not recommend my site maybe because of other matters like professional website design and anything else. They may just take the tips and ‘run’. That’s fine too. Because I know that SOME of the people on the list will do what I want them to. It’s just human nature.. It’s called reciprocity. It’s what most religions are based on. Do unto others as you want done to yourself, so that’s number one on my list:

1. Give away a LOT. You will get it back (in one shape or form).

2. Add multiple opt-in forms to all your web pages, giving people plenty of opportunity to sign-up I make no apology for the fly in you get when you enter, nor the exit pop up either. I want you to sign up!!

3. Give away a valuable gift. In my case, I give away over 100 free gifts, worth nearly $3,000!!

4. Make your content relevant and keep your subscribers happy. Go over the top. Like I say, give away a LOT.

5. Use drop-down boxes or pop-ups.. It’s a fine line and I know I go over the top, but pop up, drop down, fly in, test them out and see which works best.

6. Use squeeze pages. In other words, a page where the visitor has little option other than to sign up. Of course, you need to give them the DESIRE to want to sign up with you, and that’s where the ‘squeeze’comes in.

7. Publish articles and submit them everywhere. Point your author resource box at your squeeze page. More on Article Marketing here

8. Write a review page, publish that on other blogs, again, leading to your squeeze page.

9. Try recording audios and publish podcasts.

10. Use forum postings

11. Use a good tell a friend script

12. Start your own forum.

13. Invest in Pay Per Click advertising such as Adwords or Yahoo

14. Write testinonials for other people for your website to gain publicity. Most seo services agree to this strategy.

15. Publish a viral e-book with links to your squeeze page embedded.

16. Be friendly and swap ads with other publishers. This can be as simple as ‘you show mine, I’ll show yours’ all the way through to a genuine joint venture.

17. Run a contest to create buzz.

18. Create a membership site only for subscribers

19. Create another opt-in form on someone’s thank you page

20. Publish a Press Release

21. Purchase ezine solo ads or classified ads in ezines.

22. Try submitting to ezine directories.

23. It would also be best if you can create a giveaway application or plug-in.

24. Use Top Sponsors’ Ads in ezines

25. Give your business card away to everyone you meet.

26. Create your own Affiliate program for your own product

27. Add URL links to your email signatures.

28. Always check to see if your newsletter is kept away from the spam lists.

29. Create a 5 day e-course for new subscribers.

30. Purchase subscribers (going rate around 30c per subscriber)

31. Copy from the best. Sign up for newsletters. Carefully take note of the different tactics used, from the sign up (was it fly in, pop up, inline etc.?), what type of page was the landing page from the opt in form? After you confirmed your e-mail address? What incentive was used to encourage you to sign up? What was the content like? Copy the best ideas!! What did you like? What didn’t you like? I’m sure you get the idea…

32. Try using List Hero.

33. Use Automated List Builder..

There you go. 33 great tips and secrets to get your list building on it’s way.. If you would like to add a list building tip or secret not listed here, please comment below. Thanks, Allen.

Building a valuable list of subscribers is something every webmaster wants to achieve.. This article will give you some excellent ideas on how to build your list using surprisingly easy methods.

1 – Add more subscriber boxes to your website. Sounds very simple enough but only a few people do it. If you have a 100 page website, you should have 100 newsletter subscribe boxes on your website.

You can integrate a subscribe box just about anywhere in a website. You could add one just before an article starts, in the middle of an article or even at the end of the article, as seo services agree this is one way of also increasing web traffic for your site

As long as you have good content on your website, you won’t have a problem getting people to subscribe to your newsletter.

- Offer an outstanding bonus or gift. I have had a problem in the past with offering freebies to get people to subscribe to your newsletter, but I also know it can work well, if done properly..

Why do I have a problem with it? Well I really want subscribers to be signing up for my newsletter because they want my newsletter not because they want the freebie I am offering.

The best way to offer a freebie is to create one yourself and not something you have reprint rights to with 500 other people. You want it to be both unique and something that plugs your newsletter heavily.

Do you know what makes a good bonus? Back issues of your newsletter!.

- Use a sales letter to get subscribers, This is a new trend that I have seen and it is growing fast lately. People using direct sales letters to get new subscribers for their newsletter. They are actually creating a sales letter like they would for a product they are selling, and at the end of it, instead of an order button, they have a subscribe here button..

You’ll never know by reading these sales letter that it is not for a product at all.

This gives people the WOW factor.. You make your newsletter sound so valuable that when they find out it’s free, they go “WOW, I can’t believe they are giving all this information away for free”.

This is pure marketing at it’s best, and it’s exciting.. Marketing is meant to be exciting, just like life.

- Use a well paid for and well known autoresponder, I can’t stress this enough. Do not use free Autoresponders or mailing lists!. These services can go down at anytime and are not professional looking at all.

Plus they also get used for spamming and are abused badly..

Once your list has begun to grow do not forget to keep sending those subscribers valuable information that will be of use to them. Make them feel that they are welcome to pass the information onto others, or better still get their friends to subscribe also.
